Canada (1969-1986)

This serie of banknotes belongs to the period in which the country got into constitutional conferences ending in Canada Act, the patriation of Canada's constitution from the United Kingdom; and the nationalist problem in Quebec. There are banknotes of 1 dollar, 5 dollars, 10 dollars, 20 dollars, 50 dollars and 100 dollars.

1 dollar (one dollar/un dollar)

This banknotes worth 1 dollar was issued in 1978. On the main side right, you can see a portrait of Elizabeth II, queen of Canada as well as many other countries like UK or Australia. In the middle appears a 1 and the written value of the banknote in English and French. In the left there's Canada coat of arms. There are four 1's, one in each corner, and in the upper part has the name of the National Bank in English (Bank of Canada) and French (Banque du Canada). 
On the other side of the banknote, it can be seen the Canadian parliament buildings in Parliament Hill from the Ottawa River, in Ottawa (Ontario). There are two 1's, the written value of the banknote and the name of the National Bank in both English and French. The rest of the banknote is fulled with decorative elements. This banknote has no digital watermark. The size of this banknote is 15.5 cm x 7 cm.
