This serie of banknotes belongs to the last one under Batista dictatorship and the Cuban Revolution. There
are banknotes of 1 peso, 5 pesos, 10
pesos, 20 pesos, 50 pesos, 100 pesos, 500 pesos, 1,000 pesos and 10,000 pesos.
In the lower part there's a text saying that the banknote is convertible in gold. On the other side you can see in the middle Cuba's coat of arms. In its left there are two cows and in the right, milk manufature factory. There are four 10's in the coners, in the upper part the name of the country (República de Cuba) and in the lower one, a text saying it is has to be accepted for every debt in the country. This banknote has no digital watermark. The size of this banknote is 15.6 cm x 6.6 cm.
10 pesos (diez pesos)
This banknotes worth 10 pesos was first circulated in 1956. On the main side right you can see Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, a Cuban planter who made the declaration of Cuban independence in 1868 (satarting Ten Years' War). In his left there are gear wheels and a tree. There are four 10's, one in each corner; the written value of the banknote in the left and in the upper part, the name of the National Bank in Spanish (Banco Nacional de Cuba).In the lower part there's a text saying that the banknote is convertible in gold.
