Yugoslavia (1992-1993)

This serie of banknotes belongs to the period during the Wars of the Balkans (Yugoslav civil war) in which there is a ceasefire in the Croatian War but the Bosnian War and the Bosnian War between Yugoslavia, the Serbian Republic of Krajina and the Republic of Sprska are developed, Herzg-Bosnia and the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are banknotes of 100 Yugoslav dinara, 500 Yugoslav dinara, 1,000 Yugoslav dinara, 5,000 Yugoslav dinara, 10,000 Yugoslav dinara and 50,000 Yugoslav dinara.

100 Yugoslav dinara (сто динара/sto dinara)

This banknote worth 100 dinara was first circulated in 1992. On the main side left it can be seen a young woman with Slavic features. In the center part there is a 100 with Yugoslavia's coat of arms and the written value of the banknote in Serbian and Croatian. In the upper part there's the name of the National Bank in Serbian (Народна банка Југославије) and in Croatian (Narodna Banka Jugoslavije). In the right there is a gap for the watermark and another 100 and the rest of the banknote is fulled with decorative elements.
On the other side of the banknote appears a big 100 with a wheat ear and the written value in Serbian and Croatian. There's also the official name of the country in Latin (Jugoslavija) and Cirilic (Југославија) alphabets in the left there's a text saying that counterfeiting is punished by law. This banknote has the young woman's face as digital watermark and a security thread too. The size of this banknote is 15.3 cm x 7.3 cm.

50,000 Yugoslav dinara (сто хиљада динара/sto tisuća dinara)

This banknote worth 50,000 dinara was first circulated in 1992. On the main side left it can be seen a kid with Slavic features. In the center part there is a 50,000 with Yugoslavia's coat of arms and the written value of the banknote in Serbian and Croatian. In the upper part there's the name of the National Bank in Serbian (Народна банка Југославије) and in Croatian (Narodna Banka Jugoslavije). In the right there is a gap for the watermark and another 50,000 and the rest of the banknote is fulled with decorative elements.
On the other side of the banknote appears a big 50,000 with two roses and the written value in Serbian and Croatian. There's also the official name of the country in Latin (Jugoslavija) and Cirilic (Југославија) alphabets in the left there's a text saying that counterfeiting is punished by law. This banknote has the kid's face as digital watermark and a security thread too. The size of this banknote is 18.1 cm x 8.1 cm.

500,000 Yugoslav dinara (пет стотина хиљада динара/petsto tisuća dinara)

This banknote worth 500,000 dinara was first circulated in 1992. On the main side left it can be seen a male teenager with Slavic features. In the center part there is a 500,000 with Yugoslavia's coat of arms and the written value of the banknote in Serbian and Croatian. In the upper part there's the name of the National Bank in Serbian (Народна банка Југославије) and in Croatian (Narodna Banka Jugoslavije). In the right there is a gap for the watermark and another 500,000 and the rest of the banknote is fulled with decorative elements.
On the other side of the banknote appears a big 500,000 with Kopaonik ski resort, the largest in southeast Europe (in the Kopaonik National Park) and the written value in Serbian and Croatian. There's also the official name of the country in Latin (Jugoslavija) and Cirilic (Југославија) alphabets in the left there's a text saying that counterfeiting is punished by law. This banknote has the teenager's face as digital watermark and a security thread too. The size of this banknote is 15.9 cm x 7.1 cm.


5,000,000 Yugoslav dinara (пет милиона динара/pet miliona dinara)

This banknote worth 5,000,000 dinara was first circulated in 1992. On the main side left it can be seen Nikola Tesla, Serbian inventor, mechanical, electrical and physical engineer, known above all for his contributions to electromagnetism. In the center part there is a 5,000,000 with Yugoslavia's coat of arms and the written value of the banknote in Serbian and Croatian. In the upper part there's the name of the National Bank in Serbian (Народна банка Југославије) and in Croatian (Narodna Banka Jugoslavije)
In the right there is a gap for the watermark and another 5,000,000 and the rest of the banknote is fulled with decorative elements. On the other side of the banknote appears a big 5,000,000 with a Tesla coil (resonant transformer composed of a series of coupled resonant electrical circuits) and a hydroelectric dam and the written value in Serbian and Croatian. There's also the name of the regions of Yugoslavia and the official name of the country in Latin (Jugoslavija) and Cirilic (Југославија) alphabets. In the lower part there's a text saying that counterfeiting is punished by law. This banknote has Nikola Tesla's face as digital watermark and a security thread too. The size of this banknote is 15.9 cm x 7.1 cm.
