Sweden (1990-2015)

This serie of banknotes belongs to the period in which, after an economic crisis, in the 1991 elections the Social Democrats lost power in favor of the reformist Carl Bildt, who introduced economic measures such as privatizing some companies, lowering taxes and negotiating entry into the EU. In the 1994 elections the Social Democrats came back to power, first with Ingvar Carlsson as prime minister and then with Göran Persson, which lasted until 2006. In 1995 Sweden joined the EU and in 2000 the bridge linking Malmö and Copenhagen was built, symbol of European integration although in 2003 the country refused to join the euro. In addition these years were somewhat turbulent, with the murder of the foreign minister Anna Lindh and the disturbances of Gothenburg. In the 2006 elections the Alliance for Sweden won and Fredrik Reinfeldt was appointed prime minister, carrying out a reformist policy until 2014, when the Social Democrat Stefan Löfven won the elections. There are banknotes of 20 Swedish kronor, 50 Swedish kronor, 100 Swedish kronor, 500 Swedish kronor and 1,000 Swedish kronor.

In the left it has a gap and the rest of the banknote is fulled with decorative elements.
On the other side it can be seen a landscape of the play The Wonderful Adventures of Nils in which Nils and the goose Mårten fly in Skåne plains, in the south of Sweden.
