This serie of banknotes (called Reichbanknote) belongs to the period in which Foreign Minister
(Walter Rethenau) of the government of Joseph Wirth was assassinated
and the government of Wilhelm Cuno, who had to face the growing
hyperinflation.
There are banknotes of 1 Deutsche Mark, 2 Deutsche Mark, 100 Deutsche Mark, 500 Deutsche Mark, 1,000 Deutsche Mark, 5,000 Deutsche Mark, 10,000 Deutsche Mark
and 50,000 Deutsche Mark.
In the left a text tells us that counterfeiting the banknote is punished with more than two years of prission. The right part of the banknote has a bit of blue.
