This serie of banknotes belongs to the first part of WWII, with Germany's attacks to Poland, Belgium, Netherlands and France.
There are banknotes of 5 Deutsche Mark and 20 Deutsche Mark.
On the other side of the banknote it can be seen Brunswick Cathedral with a country man and woman workers 5 in each corners with a country man and woman workers a building in the center. The rest of the banknote is completed with four 5's, the name of the currency and decorative elements. This banknote has a line with 5's as digital watermark. 5 Deutsche Mark (fünf Mark)
This banknotes worth 5 Mark was first circulated August the 1st of 1942. On the main side right it can be seen a typical Aryan German boy. In the middle there's the written value of the banknote, the name of the currency (Reichsbanknote) and the name of the National Bank in German (Reichbankdirektorium), completed with a text saying that was issued on the basis of the order of the Reichbank from the 15th July 1939.
