Hungary (1920-1923)

This serie of banknotes belongs to the period of history after WWI, in which monarchists purgued communist and then a coalition of right-wing parties leaded by Horthy ruled the country. There are banknotes of 1 Hungarian korona, 2 Hungarian korona, 10 Hungarian korona, 20 Hungarian korona, 50 Hungarian korona, 100 Hungarian korona, 500 Hungarian korona, 1,000 Hungarian korona, 5,000 Hungarian korona and 10,000 Hungarian korona.

100 Hungarian korona (száz korona)

This banknote worth 100 korona was first circulated January the 1st of 1920. On the main side right it can be seen King Matthias, a 15th century Hungarian king, being returned to him by the Emperor, the Holy Crown of Hungary. In the left part it can be seen the written value of the banknote and a text saying that this banknote has to be accepted all along the country. It has four 100's (one in each corner), the Hungarian coat of arms and decorative elements.
On the other side of the banknote appears the written value of the banknote in Hungarian but in other languages too (Romanian, German, Czech, Serbian and Ukranian). There are four 100's in the corners and all the banknote has decorative elements. This banknote has no digital watermark. The size of this banknote is 15.5 cm x 10 cm.
