Tajikistan (1994-1999)

This serie of banknotes belongs to the period during the civil war that engulfed various factions, producing many displaced and exiled (mainly non-Muslims), in which the remaining members of the Soviet Union and Tajiks elected Emomali Rakhmonov as president, who attacked Dushanbe and the ex-Communists were rehired with the power. After the capture of Dushanbe, the government of Rakhmonov attacked Kofarnikhon, which was quickly subdued, having a ceasefire since 1997 with the opposition parties.
