This serie of banknotes belongs to the
period of Civil War in the country, the following Syrian and Israeli
invation and the retirement of troops thanks to Taif Agreement. There
are banknotes of 1 livre, 5 livres, 10 livres, 25 livres, 50 livres, 100 livres and 250 livres.
On in other side of the banknote it can be seen large rocks in the water, near Beirut. In one corner there is a gap for the watermark and in opposite corners you can see the written value of the banknote. In the upper part you can see the name of the National Bank in French (Banque du Liban). This banknote has an man's face as digital watermark. The size of this banknote is 14.5 cm x 7.5 cm.
